These terms
These terms apply to the use of this website and to any quote, booking or work we carry out for you, unless we agree different terms in writing. By requesting a quote or booking work, you accept these terms. Please read them carefully and keep a copy.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable law.
Enquiries and quotes
You can request a quote through our website assessment, our contact form, or by phone, WhatsApp or email. Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract. It is a request for us to provide a price.
Quotes are based on the information you give us and, where relevant, on inspection of the property. If the actual work required differs from what was described, for example because of hidden faults, access issues or additional work found on site, we will discuss this with you and agree any change in price before proceeding.
Unless stated otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued.
Our price match
Where we offer to beat a like-for-like written quote, this applies only to a genuine written quote for the same work, materials, specification and warranty from a suitably qualified provider. We may ask to see the written quote. This offer is at our discretion and does not apply to verbal quotes or quotes for different scopes of work.
Booking and appointments
Once you accept a quote, we will agree a date for the work. We will do our best to keep to agreed times, but timings may occasionally change due to circumstances beyond our control, such as parts availability, weather or earlier jobs overrunning. We will let you know as soon as we can if an appointment needs to change.
You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property and to the areas where we need to work. If we cannot gain access at the agreed time, we may charge a reasonable fee for the wasted visit.
Pricing and payment
Prices are as set out in your quote. Unless stated otherwise, quoted prices include VAT where applicable.
Payment terms will be confirmed with your quote or invoice. Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due on completion of the work. We accept the payment methods stated on your invoice.
We remain the owner of any materials supplied until they have been paid for in full.
Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer and you agree to work away from our premises, for example at your home, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
If you ask us to start work within this 14 day period and then cancel, you may be required to pay for any work already carried out and any materials already supplied up to the point of cancellation. If work has been fully completed within the 14 day period at your request, you lose the right to cancel.
To cancel, contact us using the details above.
Guarantees and warranties
We carry out our work to a professional standard using suitably qualified engineers.
New boilers and other equipment are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The length and terms of that warranty depend on the manufacturer and product, and are subject to the manufacturer's conditions, which usually include annual servicing. We will confirm the applicable warranty for your installation.
We also stand behind the quality of our workmanship. If something is not right as a result of our work, contact us and we will put it right. This does not cover faults caused by fair wear and tear, misuse, lack of servicing, work carried out by others, or issues with existing parts of the system that were not part of our work.
Safety and compliance
All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers in line with the relevant regulations. Where a job requires us to condemn or make safe an unsafe appliance, we will explain this to you and act in accordance with our safety obligations.
Our liability
We will carry out our work with reasonable care and skill.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability in connection with any job is limited to the price paid for that job, except where the law requires otherwise.
